How we work

The First Step
It all starts with that initial contact and conversation. You might have a particular challenge or project in mind, or you may just want some advice on what is possible. The initial conversations are free of charge with no commitment to progress any further.
This stage would normally involve conversations with your IT Team on Information Security.
After the initial conversations we will guide you through the following process.
Confirmation of requirements and costs
After the initial discussions we will confirm back to you your requirements and any specific configuration that you have requested such as the integration frequency. It is at this point that we should be able to give you an exact cost based on the connectors that you need and the amount of configuration required.
DataFlow creation
When you are ready to take things further, then we will configure the Integration for you on our DataFlow iPlatform. We refer to an integration as a DataFlow. You do not need to get involved in any of the technical details or involve any of your own technical resource in the creation of a DataFlow. We will do all of that for you as per your organisations requirements.
The DataFlow iPlatform is an ‘Integration Platform as a Service’ or iPaaS for short. Nailbourne has developed this platform to enabled integrations to be created quickly and efficiently by configuration rather than coding ie ‘No code or low code’. The DataFlow iPlatform is used by Nailbourne to setup, deploy, maintain and support all Nailbourne Integrations.
Deployment
Once the Dataflows have been setup then we will work with you and your IT team to deploy them. This will involve giving you access to the DataFlow Portal which will allow you to:
- Enable or Disable a DataFlow
- Run a DataFlow on Demand
- Check the configured schedule
- View and check the data properties that are being shared.
- View the results of a DataFlow Run and check for any issues
- Raise and manage service tickets.
The deployment can be initially made to a test environment if one is available.
Training
Once you are happy that the DataFlows are working in the way you wanted them, Nailbourne can deliver any final training. It’s then already for you to Enable the DataFlow via the DataFlow Portal.
Support
If there are any problems with the integration then just contact Nailbourne. One stop support. We will be the first point of contact and will take on the issue coordinating with any other parties. The support service is built into the platform so it is easy for a customer to raise tickets against a particular DataFlow or DataFlow Run.
Once a DataFlow is enabled then Nailbourne will monitor it as this is our core business. If any technical issue occurs or if there is a problem with the configuration then Nailbourne will react to this as part of the service. Nailbourne will coordinate with any other parties in order to determine the root cause of the issue and which party is responsible for providing the resolution.
If the DatafFlow Run is raising data validation issues then the customer will be notified with the necessary information via the DataFlow Portal to be able to resolve the data issue at source.
